WHO WE ARE?

Inspired by the talent of indigenous youth, Azul Cobalto began in 1995 when Master Leopoldina Benítez visited the Oaxaca (Mexico) highlands. At that time she knew that there was a lot to do in those communities, so she organized caravans of art in conjunction with some fellow artists, years, projects, presentations, conferences and later became a Civil Association (Social Cause). This Cultural Movement is committed to indigenous society to manage, promote and disseminate culturally and artistically to their communities, as well as promoting the talents of its young people in the way that creates an impact on their lives.
